Crib Music Player
Music soothes many a crying baby, enabling them (and you!) to rest. To bring music to the crib, there are a few good options for CD players and iPod docking stations.
Plays music and has a night light. Load music from your iPod and set to play for 15, 30 or 60 minutes Attaches to the crib with Vecro straps or stands alone. Comes with a child-resistant cover. Also works with MP3 players from iRiver and Rio. A built-in volume limiter keeps music at a safe level for infants. Compact and attaches to the side of the crib. While its speakers won't win awards, this is functional option if you'll have a bunch of baby CDs. Has a 15-minute timer and automatic shut-off. Also has a soft nightlight with on/off switch. Requires 2 'C' batteries (not included).
If you have a shelf near the crib, you can get higher-quality sound from this system. It is easily portable, so you can move it when the baby is not in the crib. Sound quality is good enough that you can use it for your own tunes. Compatible with the iPod 3G, iPod 4G, iPod mini, iPod photo, iPod video, and iPod nano.
