The 'System' offers a variety of conversion options from bassinet to crib to toddler bed and a changing table option. Each convertible feature adds to the price -roughly, the bassinet adds $280, the junior bed adds $380 and the changing table adds $500 to the basic crib. We suggest starting with the crib and bassinet ('System I') -a junior bed conversion kit can be purchased later on if you plan to stay with the system. Some merchants include the System I mattresses in the set and others require a separate purchase.
