Baby Carrier

"Wearing" your baby in a carrier makes for great bonding and is also a nice alternative to the stroller. A newborn carrier should have excellent head and next support for baby and good back support for the wearer. The carrier should be stable enough to let the wearer go hands-free if necessary, but not so complicated in its design that it requires more than one adult to put on and take off. Given the variety of carrier types, many parents opt for more than one.

If you're in the market for a versatile sling but looking for a not-so-crunchy option, look no further. The ERGO Baby is an ergonomically designed carrier that is receiving rave reviews for its combination of comfort, versatility and support. And like the BabyBjorn, dads seem comfortable sporting the ERGO Baby. Two design features to weigh: (1) the ERGO Baby is not designed for front-facing carrying (where baby faces out) like the BabyBorn, and (2) the back support is not as substantial as some other options.
