Swaddling Blankets
Swaddling means wrapping your baby in a blanket in a way that mimics that warmth and security of the womb. A swaddled baby's feet and arms are tucked in a snug package, so make sure your swaddling blankets are large enough to hold a good swaddle (40-inch dimensions) - standard size "receiving" blankets will not suffice. Swaddling instructions are forthcoming at the hospital and accompany some blankets.
